Hello Wandering Workers!
As I prepare for season 3 of the podcast, coming your way in January, I wanted to touch base. I’ve been thinking a lot about all the people I’ve interviewed who are living out their wildest dreams, and it got me wondering about YOUR wildest dreams.
BHAG Challenge
So, I set up something called the BHAG challenge. BHAG stands for Big Hairy Audacious Goals and the purpose of this challenge is to help you identify your BHAGs and take the first few small and doable steps toward achieving them, no matter how wild they might seem. It’s a super low lift that’s sure to get you dreaming big.
When you sign up you’ll get the first email with your instructions, it will only take about 20 minutes a day for 3 days.
If anything, it’s a fun way to start brainstorming about some of the the things you’d love to try in your life. And what better time to do this than at the end of the year when goals and New Year’s resolutions are on our minds?
The twist is that I don’t want you to just think about goals for the coming year, I want you to dream big and think about all those impossible-seeming dreams you might have for 3 or 5 or 10 years from now.
Go to michellevalenti.com/BHAG-challenge to sign up. It will be fun!
Season 3
Then, keep an eye out for season 3 of the Wandering Workers podcast, coming your way on January 1st! I’ve recorded five episodes so far and I. AM. STOKED. I can’t wait to start sharing them with you come the new year!
As always, you’ll get to hear from all kinds of people who have designed their ideal lives. But this season you’re also going to get more insights and actionable takeaways from each episode.
We are kicking things off with The Funny Yogi who has an inspiring message about chasing your joy. It’s going to be a great way to set the tone for the year ahead.
You are going to hear from The Dangerz (who claim they are not dangerous at all but who did quit their jobs six years ago to live out of a van and then recently moved onto a sailboat). They just posted on Instagram from a place called “Happy Island” and they sure look happy.
You’ll hear from a digital nomad, an online entrepreneur, a remote worker, and more. You’ll also get to hear from a career and money coach, Lindsey Lathrop, who is all about helping people overcome their limiting beliefs and get to where they want to go (quickly and efficiently). She also has some amazing negotiation tips, and that’s just going to be a super solid episode.
I can’t wait to see you back in this feed in January and share all these inspiring stories with you. In the meantime, have a wonderful and happy holiday season.
And be sure to sign up for that Big Hairy Audacious Goals challenge at michellevalenti.com.
Happy wandering,
Michelle
