To get the result you want, you have to start by looking at the end. That is how Katerina Suchkova, a design thinking facilitator, wants you to approach designing your ideal life.
Design thinking is a tactic used by companies to solve problems in creative ways. It starts with understanding the ideal outcome and works backward from there.
Similarly, to create your ideal life, you have to first understand what you want that life to look like. Only then can you start to take the steps needed to get you there.
Do you want to work from home, have a more flexible schedule, travel the world while making money Anything is possible, and Katia has some great advice for how to get started.
In this episode of the Wandering Workers podcast you’ll learn:
- How to use design thinking to design your best life
- What questions you should ask yourself to get started
- How to overcome the potential fear associated with a big life change
We also talk about how you don’t have to know all the answers to get started. The important thing is to follow your own curiosities. If you do that, you will learn new skills along the way that will help you better understand the opportunities available to you and eventually play a part in whatever you decide to do.
Below you’ll find some resources mentioned on the show and a handful of starter questions. This is not a change that happens overnight. You might reflect on some of these questions over time. But if you start now, you are one day closer to living your ideal life.
